About Beth

Hello!

My name is Beth Neil and I’m an award-winning writer and journalist with more than 20 years’ experience working across newspapers, magazines and books.

After starting out as a reporter on my local paper in Newcastle upon Tyne, I moved to London to take up a dream job as a features writer on the Daily Mirror. I later went to Fabulous magazine where I worked as assistant editor for several years and profile interviewed some of the biggest names in showbiz.

Now freelance, I write for multiple media titles and have ghostwritten several best-selling books in both the celebrity memoir and self-development fields.

I also work as a media trainer for established celebrities and up-and-coming talent, I host and appear on panels and squeeze in a job as associate lecturer in journalism at Northumbria University.

I am trusted and respected throughout the industry, passionate about helping people share their stories and always happy to hear from anyone about potential projects!
